This resource was designed to help children ages 7+ with growth mindset. Individual's with a growth mindset are more likely to embrace challenges, persist in the face of obstacles, enjoy putting in the effort, learn from criticism, and find inspiration in others' successes. Children who embrace a growth mindset understand the value of effort and persistence in reaching for their goals. This is an important part of social development, and more importantly, the development of resilience.
This resource begins with information on growth mindset and how this differs from a fixed mindset. It also uses child friendly language to explain how growth mindset works in the human brain.
It then includes 5 activities that help bring awareness to, and develop a growth mindset in children. Each activity includes all relevant templates and instructions. The activities cover the topics of mindset, goal setting, self-belief, and self-reflection.
