What if you could support your clients with confidence and clarity, without spending hours second-guessing your sessions or scrambling to reinvent the wheel every week?

Home Desk

Uni gave you a degree, but not the real-world tools, support, or confidence you need to thrive as a clinician. That’s where this membership steps in.

Inside, you’ll get affordable, relevant, and genuinely helpful clinical resources, supervision, and PD, all in one place, so you can grow your skills, feel more grounded in your work, and stop wondering how you’re supposed to afford it all.

If you’re an early career psychologist OR a practitioner drowning in the cost of PD, supervision, and client prep, and you’ve ever thought, “Surely this could be easier?”

You’re in exactly the right place.

Through the Forum, you’ll move from "Am I doing this right?" to "I’ve got what I need... and I know what I’m doing."

It’s time to build a practice that supports you, not just your clients.

Professional growth with clarity, compassion, and community.

GET INSTANT ACCESS TO SUPERVISION, PD + RESOURCES

Let’s face the facts: Having access to ongoing support, relevant PD, and real-world clinical tools is the #1 way early-career psychologists build confidence, avoid burnout, and finally feel like they know what they’re doing.

In fact, this kind of wraparound support is THE answer to navigating those chaotic first years without constantly feeling underprepared, overwhelmed, or unsure. It bridges the gap between your degree and the real-life demands of client work, so you can actually grow into the clinician you want to be.

And if that wasn’t reason enough to pay attention…

  • Therapists who receive consistent supervision and access to targeted PD report significantly higher confidence and lower burnout.

  • Spending hours each week on session planning and resource creation is strongly associated with higher burnout rates in clinicians.

  • Clinicians who rely on scattered one-off PDs and supervision sessions often report feeling financially drained and professionally under-supported.

Buuuuuuuuuuut here's the thing no one tells you…

Knowing how to be a psychologist and knowing how to feel confident as a clinician are two very different things.

You leave uni with a degree, but not with the practical tools, support, or clarity to handle real-world clients, complex cases, or the emotional rollercoaster of early practice.

And:

  • You might be stuck with supervision that feels more like a checkbox than a real support system.

  • You might be experiencing constant pressure to invest in PDs that cost a fortune and don’t even feel relevant to the work you do.

  • And you’re probably desperate to feel capable and well-resourced, but it’s hard when everything feels like it’s on you (including buying your own tools just to get through the week).

And all this? Has probably got you feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and wondering if you’re behind. Not growing the way you want.
Not feeling the confidence you hoped would come by now.

Or even worse? Starting to question whether you’re cut out for this career at all.

Allow me to Introduce Myself...

Hi, I’m Emily, a clinical psychologist, resource creator, and the founder of The Playful Psychologist. With years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families, I know just how rewarding, and exhausting, this work can be.

When I was an early career psych, I often felt like I was drowning. Between managing a growing caseload, creating resources from scratch, and navigating new systems with minimal support, I constantly asked myself, “Is it meant to be this hard?”

That overwhelming start to my career was exactly what sparked the idea for The Clinicians Forum.

I knew there had to be a better way… a way to support clinicians with the kind of tools, guidance, and community I wished I had back then. So I built it.

Today, this membership exists to give you access to high-quality, beautifully designed, clinically informed resources, all ready to use, so you can spend less time prepping and more time doing the work you love (and feeling GOOD doing it).

Because I believe that when clinicians are supported, clients thrive. And that’s the kind of ripple effect I want to be part of.

Here’s the part no one teaches you, but makes all the difference…

You don’t need more expensive courses, 6-step frameworks, or supervision that leaves you more confused than before.

What you do need is a space that meets you exactly where you’re at: somewhere that gives you real-time support, practical tools, and relevant learning without the overwhelm.

That’s exactly  what The Clinicians’ Members Forum was built for.

It’s not about ticking boxes, it’s about:

  • Monthly supervision that actually answers your questions and builds your confidence

  • Bite-sized PDs that make you a stronger, sharper, more skilled practitioner

  • Client-ready, affirming resources you can use right now, without spending hours creating them

When you have access to the right kind of support, growth doesn’t just feel possible, it starts to feel inevitable.

So, what makes the Forum so effective?

It’s built on my Grounded Growth Framework:  the three-stage process that underpins everything at The Playful Psychologist:

Grounding → Reflection → Growth.

Inside the Forum, that looks like helping you feel grounded and clear in the chaos of early-career practice, offering reflective supervision and community support to deepen your insight, and equipping you with practical tools so your growth feels sustainable, confident, and aligned with the kind of clinician you want to be.

From there, everything in the Forum works together: real-world supervision, affordable PD, and ready-to-go resources... all intentionally connected so what you learn in PD is reinforced in supervision and supported by tools you can use immediately with clients.

Every element is designed to reduce overwhelm, fast-track your growth, and help you feel deeply supported in a profession that often forgets about the people doing the supporting.

Inside The Clinicians’ Forum, you’ll find everything you need, all in one place,  to build a grounded, confident, values-aligned psychology practice that grows with you (not at the cost of your wellbeing).

This isn’t just another professional development hub or a one-off resource drop that leaves you thinking, “But what do I actually do next?”

This is your go-to space for ongoing clinical support, ready-to-use tools, and meaningful peer connection, designed specifically for early-career psychologists and affirming practitioners who want clarity, confidence, and calm in their work.

Inside, you'll gain access to:

✨ Practical, neuroaffirming resources to use with clients (and to save your time)
✨ Monthly clinical coaching sessions to troubleshoot, reflect, and grow
✨ Exclusive masterclasses on everything from report writing to emotional regulation
✨ A like-minded community of clinicians who get it...no hustle, no hierarchy

You’ll learn how to simplify your systems, deepen your clinical insight, and show up with confidence, whether you're navigating your first assessment report or setting boundaries in supervision.

BUT THE THING I'M MOST PROUD OF?

Watching other clinicians grow in confidence, clarity, and impact, and create their own version of a grounded, meaningful practice.

I literally tear up every time someone says “this finally makes sense now...”

Those messages I've received? That could be you.

Imagine this…

You open your laptop and know exactly where to go for supervision, PD, and the resources you need.

You feel prepared for client sessions instead of scrambling the night before.

You’re supported by a supervisor who actually gets your challenges, and peers who are walking the same path.

You’re no longer questioning your every clinical move or googling “how to run this session” at 11pm.

Ashleigh, Registered Psychologist

“The supervision calls are worth the whole membership fee alone. I leave every session feeling clearer and more confident.”

FAQ

Home Desk

Who is this membership for?

It’s designed for early-career psychologists, provisionals, registrars, those coming back from extended leave, and any practitioner who feels overwhelmed by the constant pressure to up skill, stay current, and feel confident, without support that actually meets them where they are.

Is this helpful if I’m already registered?

Nope! Every supervision session is recorded and uploaded so you can watch at a time that suits you. Live attendance is encouraged if you can swing it, but you’ll never miss out.

Do I have to attend the supervision live?

Nope! Every supervision session is recorded and uploaded so you can watch at a time that suits you. Live attendance is encouraged if you can swing it, but you’ll never miss out. You can tailor a support system to cater to your needs.

What if I’m not in a “typical” psych role?

The Forum supports psychologists in private practice, schools, NDIS, community, research, and in-between seasons. If you’re transitioning, exploring options, or not sure what’s next, you’ll be completely supported.

What if I haven’t started my NPE yet?

Totally fine! The NPE folder is just one part of the support on offer. You can explore it at your own pace, or ignore it completely if it doesn’t apply right now. There are so many other features & benefits that can support you pre NPE & post registration.

Am I locked into a contract?

No way! There are no contracts, no lock-ins, and no awkward hoops to jump through. Just log in, click cancel, and your membership will end at the end of your billing period.
