Each worksheet comes with a step-by-step guide and is designed for primary-school-aged kids (6-13), but can easily be adapted for older children.
The pack includes a list of recommended books to help set the stage, eight worksheets for exploring specific emotions, and a mind map for children to brainstorm coping strategies. For emotions that don’t require specific strategies (like happiness or excitement), there are alternative activities to keep kids engaged.
And because trying out strategies is key, I’ve included an “experiment” worksheet for kids to test the effectiveness of their chosen coping techniques. This repeatable worksheet helps them build a personalised list of effective strategies, making emotional growth a practical and engaging journey.
