LIVE & ONLINE: ADHD IN FEMALES

  • 3 Steps

About

Did you know? ADHD in females is one of the most overlooked diagnoses, often hidden behind perfectionism or the need to appear “put together.” While ADHD is stereotypically associated with hyperactive young boys, the reality for many women is far more nuanced, leading to misdiagnosis, masking, and burnout. If you’re a clinician, parent, or someone seeking clarity about ADHD in girls and women, this workshop is designed for you. Who’s leading this workshop? I’m Emily, a clinical psychologist with 10 years experience in this field. I’ve helped hundreds of neurodivergent women and clinicians better understand females with ADHD by challenging outdated narratives and providing science-backed, practical tools. On a personal level, I can relate to the frustrating nature of ADHD stereotypes as I was diagnosed with ADHD in my late teens. What You’ll Gain:
🧠 Understand ADHD in females: causes, comorbidities, and diagnostic challenges
🎭 Uncover the hidden struggles: masking, burnout, and mental health considerations
💡 Learn practical strategies: therapeutic approaches, school/workplace tools, and ways to harness ADHD’s strengths What makes this workshop unique? We’re rewriting the ADHD narrative for girls and women. From understanding gender differences to addressing the myths perpetuated online, this is your chance to gain clarity, confidence, and actionable steps to support females with ADHD effectively.
